Pomeroy & Associates, Ltd. is a consulting civil engineering and surveying firm that provides design services for land development and public infrastructure type projects. Our firm is involved in the design and surveying of projects that include streets, water lines, and sewers. Our firm also provides services directly to local villages and cities for plan review, funding applications and construction inspection.

Pomeroy & Associates, Ltd. is currently seeking individuals for the following positions:

Civil Engineer- A graduate civil engineer with 0 to 2 years experience for a position in our engineering department. This position involves working with experienced engineers and CAD technicians to prepare design plans for land development and public works type projects. Specifically you will be involved in the preparation of design plans for the construction of water lines, streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, grading, etc.

CAD Technicians- CAD technicians full or part time with AutoCad experience and some technical education. Softdesk experience is a plus. Prefer an individual with experience in civil engineering or surveying. The position involves working with experienced engineers and other CAD technicians to prepare design plans for land development and public works type projects using AutoCad and Softdesk.

Surveyors- Field surveyors for rod person and instrument operator positions. Our surveyors provide all types of surveying services including: topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys and construction surveying. The rod person should be a dependable individual with a high school diploma and have a valid drivers license, no experience is necessary. The Instrument operator should have at least 2 years of experience, preferably with experience in construction staking.

These are career positions with a well established company that has been in the in the Columbus, Ohio area for over 30 years. All of our work is performed out of our Worthington office at 599 Scherers Court. Our surveying work is provided on projects in the central Ohio area with no overnight travel.
